I am a human geographer studying the social, ecological, and historical dynamics of U.S. agriculture. My research explores the intersection of soil, water, and people through a lens of political ecology. I am particularly interested in supporting small and mid-sized agricultural producers and improving the resilience of regional food systems.
I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Santa Cruz, having recently completed a PhD at UC Berkeley. I reside in Southern California, have lived and worked in Colorado and Massachusetts, and have family roots in New Mexico and Iowa.
