I am a human geographer studying the social, ecological, and political dynamics of U.S. agriculture. My research explores the intersection of soil, water, and people through a lens of political ecology. I am particularly interested in agriculture’s entanglement with the climate crises of the Anthropocene, the spatial politics of water quality, and the historical legacies of exclusion that produce uneven socio-material conditions. I center environmental justice and interdisciplinary problem-solving throughout my research.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Santa Cruz researching sustainability and equity in California water governance. I grew up in Southern California, have lived and worked in Colorado and Massachusetts, and have roots in New Mexico and Iowa.
